Legacy Elite Company Information

Legacy Elite Team Information

Many have been asking about the Legacy Elite teams that will be formed for the 2010 – 2011 competition season. We would like to offer the Elite teams to students who want to concentrate on dance more than 1 day per week. The plans are to create possibly 3 Elite teams in addition to the existing teams. The Elite students will compete as soloists, duo/trios, small groups and possibly large group or even line dances. Elite students will be required to attend the weekly team practice as they do now, plus Elite students will be required to attend 2 technique classes, special Thursday(7:30 pm or after) and Saturday (not every Saturday) rehearsals.

The existing teams will function as they do now with the 1.5 hour weekly rehearsal and the required 1 technique class per week.

We hope this helps answer some of the questions. More detailed information will be published at a later date.

Remaining Competition Facts

Our remaining competitions will be Stage One Atlanta and our nationals in Gatlinburg. All other "extra" competition rumors are false. Soloists are welcome to enter other competitions as Legacy Dance, but will need to go through Shawn to register for these competitions.

Mickey Rehearsal Every Other Week

Mickey rehearsal will be every other Monday. We will not have Mickey rehearsal on Monday March 22. We will use this time for tumbling and strengthening if you would like to attend at not extra cost.
