Aye Caramba Info

There have been some questions on Aye Caramba hair. We will use the donut to make a side bun. You will need a hair net and plenty of bobby pins. Also, we will put the curly hair piece around the bun. Keisha is making the hairpiece for everyone. Please make sure you have replaced the hook and eye on the back of the top with large heavy duty smaps and have pulled the sequin strap to the opposite side shoulder to help hold up the big puff sleeve. We will be wearing nude foot undies with this costume. I have a shipment arriving next week. Please exchange your black foot undies for nude ones if you have already picked up your black foot undies. Please email if you have any questions.

You will not be wearing the long barrel cheerleading curl hairpiece. You will be wearing the short curls that go around your bun. You can purchase these at Sally's. If you have these already, please bring yours in for approval to make sure we all have the same hairpiece. We will be meeting this week during your class times to discuss makeup colors and discussing the full dress rehearsal. Thanks!

West Coast Dance Explosion

West Coast Dance Explosion will be sending us a detailed schedule on Wednesday, February 15, but for now we do have a timeline to base your Saturday and Sunday.

Arrive at the convention Hotel, on Saturday, Feb. 18 if you are not already staying there be 7:15 and 7:30 to pick up your registration armband for the students and the parents that have paid to attend.

Classes will begin on Saturday, Feb. 18 morning at 8:00 am in the ballrooms at the hotel. Classes will go until 2:15 on Saturday. You will work with different teachers and learn choreography from each teacher.

The competition will begin at 3:30 pm. We will have our trio, Cassie, Hayden and Regan and our duet of Bella and Eli competing in the competition. The competition will be really really good, so it will be beneficial for every to come watch and to support our dancers competing.

Sunday, Feb. 19 classes begin again at 8:00 am until 2:15 pm. Auditions will be included during this time. The faculty show begins at 2:30 followed by scholarships and awards. All should wrap up around 3:45 pm.

Girls, please wear appropriate dancewear with your hair up. Look and act like dancers at all times. No clowing around in the workshop and definitely no talking or they will definitely embarass you. They expect everyone to act like professional dancers who are ready and willing to learn at all times.

Boys, you can wear t-shirt and shorts.

Bring your dance shoes with you. They also offer tap, so please bring your tappers with you if you want to attend the tap workshop.

We will have a meeting to discuss more info on what to expect if needed.
